·         Incumbent will head the maintenance function and will be responsible to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep of the plant machinery and facilities.

·         Plan, Manage and supervise operation and maintenance activities

·         Ensure adequate control of spares and tools

·         Team management

·         Develop and implement proactive maintenance plan

·         Develop, execute and monitor the strategy to improve overall functioning of workshop facilities and reduce the incidence of breakdowns along with departmental goals, objectives and long term plan in line with business plans of the company. 

·         Prepare and monitor departmental budget and maintenance plan on an annual basis along with employee budget of the department. 

·         Carry out improvements/modifications activities to upgrade and increase the reliability and efficiency of plant and machinery. 

·         Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities (mechanical and electrical) at the factory to ensure their execution is in conformity with the contractual obligations.

·         Ensure close coordination of maintenance staff with production and other departments to trouble shoot any problem.
