| Job Description: |
The interested candidate should have specialities of Network, Data Center Creation, Management and Monitoring. Responsibilities includes but not limited to following: • Analyze Designs, develops and maintains ERP of organization.
• Manages the acquisition, installation and maintenance of the organization’s local area network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN).
• Manages the acquisition, installation and maintenance of the organization’s Virtual Private Network (VPN) with in country and associated offices (Outside Country).
• Manages network operations to include: troubleshooting connectivity problems; installing & maintaining routers; adding/terminating users; assigning rights and access; resetting passwords; establishing e-mail addresses; assessing and reporting operational status; performing backups and restores; .
• Plan and manage routine preventive maintenance on hardware and software.
• Analyzes technology requirements and develops functional specifications. Conducts comparative analysis and competitive bidding when necessary
• Develops and maintains technology policies, standards and procedures manual
• Assists staff in understanding and using technology; conducts regular staff technology presentations and trainings
• Ensures networks, workstations, operating systems and software applications are operational; ensures hardware and software is patched and/or updated
• Ensures for the availability, continuity and security of data and information pertaining to the organization.
• Prepares, maintains and tests a technology disaster recovery plan
• Maintains knowledge on current technology by reading technology periodicals, evaluating new technologies and attending trade-shows, technical seminars and training sessions
• Conducts technology orientation and exit briefing for all staff; prepares technology and systems for new and existing staff.
• Design and implement IT related SOP’s.
• Manage all IT related Procurement according to budget and equipment life.
• Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures & maintenance plans
• Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges) • Any other duty as assigned by the manager |
