| Job Description: |
Cinnova is looking for an experienced Front-end Web Developer to work closely with creative design and back-end development teams to create HTML5 / CSS3/PHP-based web content and applications for desktop and mobile.
- Develop functional and appealing web- and mobile-based applications based on UX best practices.
- Collaborate in the development of websites using CMS platforms.
- Hand-code design comps into optimized, standards-compliant websites.
- Create cross-browser/platform-compatible sites in a team environment with Information Architects and Designers.
- Implement and advocate for the use of standards-based and semantic HTML and CSS to solve design problems.
- Assess existing sites/systems for code quality and interactive appeal.
- Evangelize for best practices for front-end development.

Requirements
- Bachelors/Master's degree in Computer Sciences from an accredited institute.
- 2-3 years of professional experience designing and developing custom WordPress websites.
- Good portfolio showcasing small to medium level projects.
- Experience with Photoshop required.
- Experience with CMS development, especially WordPress and Drupal.
- Strong experience in developing WordPress Themes, Child Themes, Plugins, and Templates.
- Working knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
- Knowledge of web usability standards.
- Knowledge of web browsers/browser compatibility.
- Proficient in HTML5 and CSS3.
- Self-starter and strong team player.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
